  • 1-2 page cover letter outlining book, intended audience, how you plan reaching them, your
     selling points, and competing and comparable titles
     
  • Resume of publishing, personal and professional history
     
  • Synopsis and table of contents
    Introduction and a chapter or two
     
  • Photo copies of illustrations
     
  • Note if permissions are required and secured
     
  • SASE if you want materials returned.

You'll notice, Sherman Asher is a literary imprint, while Western Edge Press is mostly Western non-fiction.
